    SUMMER INSPIRATIONS FROM INSIDE THE QUILTERY ~  

We are thrilled to have one of our favorite Canadian Pattern Designers coming to the Quiltery on Friday, June 18th

TERRY MORBERG of Applepatch Designs will be at the Quiltery on Friday June 18th so mark your calendars and join us for lots of fun!  Terry will share her enthusiasm for quilting with ideas, inspiration, a trunk show, demos, samples and lots more!  She will be unveiling her newest and latest patterns.  Register in person or by phone.  Limited seating available.  We have two event times  ~  2pm  or  7pm  ~  Please let us know which one you wish to attend. A $5.00 event fee is payable when you register. Bring a friend and Show & Share.  More details available in the store. Refreshments will be served. 

TAX RELIEF DAY ~ One Day Only!     Friday, April 30th  No Tax on almost everything in the store - Including    Sewing Machines!

8th Annual Quilt Retreat  ~ Friday, October 22nd - 24th,  2010 Fairway Inn in Sussex, NB  Join us for an unforgettable weekend of sewing, eating, fellowship, laughter, prizes and fun!  A pattern will be provided or work on your own project.  A limited number of spots are available. Registrations will be accepted starting May 1st. Spaces are available on a First Come First Serve Basis.  The finished quilt is in the store to view.

Tips & Tricks

If you are cutting a width that is not on your ruler, position narrow masking tape at the correct place on the under side of the ruler and use the edge of the tape as your guide. You may want to use this method for cutting many strips the same width even when the ruler has the measurement you need because lining up the ruler is easier and faster and
there is little chance of cutting the wrong width.
