Wednesday October 15th ~ 6:30pm - 9:00pm MACHINE QUILTING 101 Beginner Linda Hubbard $40.00  Notes Given Learn all the basics of machine quilting ~ layering your quilt, the tools & equipment necessary to do the job.  Learn about battings, threads, needles, free motion quilting (stippling and/or meandering), specialty threads  and lots more.   Saturday October 18th  ~  10:30pm - 4:00pm	QUICK TRIPS Beg/Intermediate Beth Rasmussen              $35.00 + Book This is the most traditional looking version of the Trip Around the World Quilt.  This is a simple strip method of sewing strips together and cutting them apart in different widths.  Unlike the traditional method there are no opposing seams to match!   Saturday Nov. 15th   ~  10:30am -3:30pm                      PINEAPPLE EXPRESS Intermediate Beth Rasmussen          $40.00 Pattern Included This version of the Pineapple Block is related more towards the "geese in the corner" style of log cabin, than it is a true pineapple block.  On this block the triangle corners are only sewn to two opposite diagonal  sides instead of all four.  It makes up into a beautiful quilt that can be finished with or without sashing for a unique look. Saturday Nov. 29th   ~  10:30am - 3:30pm CATHEDRAL WINDOWS CANDLE MAT Beginner Martha Davidson $25.00 Pattern Included This fun and easy method is also known as the orange-peel 9 patch.  Easily constructed you can fussy cut a print to showcase in the center.  It can be finished with machine or hand stitching.
