FUSIBLE WEB 101 Beg/Intermediate   Martha Davidson $25.00 Pattern Included  Love the look of appliqué but don't have the time for hand sewing.  This is the class for you!  All the basics will be covered including how to transfer patterns, the different types of fusible webs, fusing, satin stitch, blanket stitch/buttonhole stitch, decorative threads and more. BALI BAG CLASS Beginner/Intermediate Martha Davidson      $40.00 + Pattern It's all in the bag and you'll want to make more than one!  This bag is quilted as you go using Fusible Fleece.  This bag is fully lined with two pockets on the inside and a magnetic snap closure to finish it off.  Bali Pop and Jelly Roll friendly! SERGER BASICS LEVEL 1 Beginner Cathy Constantine   $25.00 Notes Given Learn the basics of using a Serger.  Threading, stopping, starting, tensions and more.  Bring your own Serger and see everything you can do with it.  Wednesday January 27th  ~  6:30pm - 9:00pm	RADIANT STAR/LONESTAR QUILT  Advanced Martha Davidson  $60.00 + Book           Eleanor Burns' simple strip piecing and famous quick-sew techniques, allow you to create your own Radiant Star Quilt in a variety of sizes and in either a four-color or six-color star.  Sew straight strips together and then cut into "diamonds" to create the star design. Wednesday  Feb. 10th  ~  6:30pm - 9:00pm     A word about copyrighted material -   As you know, some of the classes we offer require you to purchase a book or pattern.  Since the information contained in those books and patterns is considered "copyrighted" material, it is illegal to photocopy all or any portion of the information, even just to share with a friend to use during a class.  We all want to support the creative efforts of the hard-working Designers who develop our favourite quilt patterns and encourage them to continue to publish and create.  In order to do that, we must properly compensate them for sharing their ideas with us by purchasing their books and patterns.  Thank you for your cooperation and consideration!	FEEDSACK QUILT Beginner/Intermediate  Beth Rasmussen      $40.00 + Book While the center squares look like they're "set in", these blocks are assembled with partial seams and couldn't be any simpler.  Great with 30's Reproduction Fabrics or scrap strips.   Saturday March 27th  ~  10:30am - 3:30pm Hand Quilting Basics Beginner  Juanita Allain $25.00       Learn how to enjoy this timeless craft.  Begin and end a line of stitches while doing the "rocking" stitch to form graceful lines of running stitches. Also learn how to mark your quilting design, layer and baste your quilt to achieve quality results. Tools, batting, threads, thimbles and and more will be discussed and used. Monday April 5th   ~  10:00am - 12:30pm   OR    6:30pm - 9:00pm QUICK TRIPS QUILT Beg/Inter   Beth Rasmussen                  $40.00 + Book This is the most traditional looking version of the Trip Around the World Quilt.  This is a simple strip method of sewing strips together and cutting them apart in different widths.  Unlike the traditional method there are no opposing seams to match! Saturday April 10th  ~  10:30am - 3:30pm TECHNIQUE RULER CLASS Intermediate  Beth Rasmussen    $25.00 + Rulers (Pattern Included)  This is a stunning Star Block design that uses the Tri-Recs Rulers.  The "cut off angle" makes it easy to align and sew accurately.  The rulers include the 1/4" seam allowance for more accurate piecing. These rulers are also used to make the "54-40" blocks seen in many quilt designs which have 60 degree star points.  Friday April 16th  ~ 6:30pm - 9:00pm SCOT'S PLAID QUILT  Beg/Intermediate  Beth Rasmussen   $40.00 Pattern Included This simple block makes a stunning quilt top.  Can be done in pastels, plaids or whatever colors you choose.  Saturday April 24th  ~ 10:30am - 3:30pm
